Be
involved, take action!
More training and confidence is essential to create safer drivers.
Something needs
to be done to change these statistics.
One
giant step forward in changing these statistics is the graduated
driving program. 33 states have adopted some form of this program.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA) reports
that this has already resulted in a 13% drop in teen driving accidents.
Parents
need to be more involved in training new teen drivers to improve
these numbers even further.
